For those of you who follow us, this is an update for you.  For those who are new, welcome!  Our boutique hotel, as you can see from the picture, is built almost entirely.  Although the exterior looks to be moving slowly in progression, the interior is constantly changing.  There is an incredible amount of detail work still to be done, but the trades are pulling together to make it outstanding.  The heavy work is complete, with the exception of the north end of the building over the pool, and we could not be more excited.  The guest rooms are nearing completion with construction and preparing for the installation of all FF&E.  The ‘exciting things’ are on their way; flat screen televisions, custom built furniture, luxurious Serta mattresses with pinstripe triple sheeting, and sumptuous bath towels.  There is obviously more than the items listed above, but we can’t give it all away!

So what is on the horizon for us now?  We believe success comes from the small things.  As Michael Levine would state, “The biggest problems in business, stem from ignoring the smallest of details”.  We promise you, there is no other place that is as detailed as we will be.  We know better than most, that the delays we have had in construction have been frustrating, but it is due to the amount of detail we put in the project.  We will be the property that comes out with a bang and is the place that you have to stay when you come to Deadwood.  We may be smaller in size than other hotels but we will capitalize on the both tangible and intangible aspects of detail.  Our upscale, elegant, and unique interior design will physically prove our attention to detail.  However, our outstanding customer service will be the detail that sets us apart.  Our agents are already proving to guests they can stand the test.  They have had to memorize a floor plan and envision what the room will be set like, look like, feel like and sell it.  The great part is, their descriptions have all been correct, but what the finalized product is unimaginable.
