Following suit with its continued commitment to keeping casino customers on the driving edge of gaming devices, Deadwood Mountain Grand's Grand Casino will feature the latest, greatest and only slot machines made in South Dakota.

"They're a novelty! Eight new 'Made in South Dakota' machines featuring around 10 new games will be available to gamers starting today," said Deadwood Mountain Grand General Manager Brad Hemmah. The concert that never was, is. Thanks to a bring-back group that breathes life back into the musicianship, the chemistry and the amazing, timeless and wonderful songs of The Beatles. The Reunion Beatles are set to rock the Deadwood Mountain Grand Event Center at 8 p.m. May 31.

The Reunion Beatles have put together “The Ultimate Tribute, The Reunion Anthology: A Fantasy Tribute to the Beatles,” which features four of the world’s greatest veteran Beatles look- and sound-alike artists performing a musical tribute to John, Paul, George & Ringo like no other.

The art of photo-realist painter Scott Jacobs is not only available for viewing at Deadwood Mountain Grand. Following an exclusive gallery arrangement with DMG officials, Jacobs’ art is now available for purchase right on-property.

An entire wall in the Deadwood Mountain Grand casino features Jacobs pieces – art on canvas -- which appears so real, many people mistake his detail-laden pieces for actual photographs.

Wynonna Set to Play Deadwood Mountain Grand

She’s back and better than ever before. All set to strum her stuff, Wynonna Judd takes to the Deadwood Mountain Grand Event Center stage at 8 p.m. Saturday, February 23.

The original Wynonna show, scheduled for Saturday, August 18 was postponed following a motorcycle accident the day of the show involving Wynonna’s husband, Cactus Moser. Moser is up and touring again following the accident, is back to playing drums in Wynonna’s band and will join her the night of the show.

There's Still Time Left to Become a GRAND Star

Even better than being a big star, karaoke contestants competing Friday nights at Deadwood Mountain Grand during the month of January have the chance to be chosen as the GRAND Star.

 It's called the GRAND Star Karaoke contest and the grand prize winner will have the chance to sing an opening song, prior to a nationally known artist's upcoming performance.

Deadwood Mountain Grand has rocked and rolled its way into Midwest Living's annual "Best of the West" issue, landing in the magazine's list of best new midwest attractions, hotels and restaurants for the year.

 

It’s A New Year, and a GRAND Old Party!

This year the Grand is taking the entire weekend to welcome in the New Year with a 'GRAND' Old Party!

Four full-on days of food, fun and festivities, Friday through Monday, include free live nightly entertainment in the Slime Plant bar, blackjack and slot tournaments, television and Big Red Sled giveaways, hot seat drawings and promo chip giveaways. Whew! And that's just for starters!

George Jones Cancels Deadwood Mountain Grand Show

The George Jones concert scheduled for Deadwood Mountain Grand twice earlier this year has been canceled.

According to a statement released by Jones’s management company,
“Because of scheduling issues we are unable to reset the date at this time.”

Jones’s originally scheduled concert of April 21, 2012 and a rescheduled date of November 3, 2012 at Deadwood Mountain Grand were both postponed due to the star having respiratory issues.

Deadwood Mountain Grand general manager Brad Hemmah offered his apologies for disappointing concert ticket holders and those who planned to attend the rescheduled show.

“Customers may return their tickets to the original place of purchase – Ticketmaster or the Deadwood Mountain Grand Box Office (The Company Store) -- for a full refund," Hemmah said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers.”
