“The Arlen Ness Experience will be one-of-a-kind for rally go-ers,” said Deadwood Mountain Grand general manager Brad Hemmah. “We’re talking no ordinary trade show -- a bike show with a giant rock ‘n roll club atmosphere.”
With over 40 years of experience in the industry, the Ness family has managed to put together an arsenal of builds that range from custom Harley Davidsons™ to one-of-a-kind, hand-built show stoppers. A company that strives every day to create, test, and deliver the best motorcycle products available, rally goers can check out hundreds of their innovative parts, products and builds at the DMG Arlen Ness Trade Show.
With free entertainment flying all week long, top recording artists THE FARM will plow into the Deadwood Mountain Grand practically every night during Rally Week.
In addition to live entertainment, Deadwood Mountain Grand will hold its first annual “Haulin’ for Heroes” celebrity charity ride Thursday August 9 to benefit the Wounded Warriors Project and the First Step Child Care Center in Deadwood.
The “Haulin’ for Heroes” charity ride was kick-started by Deadwood Mountain Grand to significantly benefit combat wounded veterans and local children whose freedom and futures they fought for. The Haulin' for Heroes ride, which takes to the twists and turns of Spearfish Canyon, begins and ends at the Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel, Event Center and Casino in Deadwood, led by a crew of celebrities and followed by a private reception with them and more. All proceeds from the ride will be donated to the South Dakota Wounded Warriors fund and the First Step Day Care Center in Deadwood. There are still plenty of spots open for riders to participate. To enter up, call Deadwood Mountain Grand.
Other special events include Kory & The Fireflies concerts and an art display by world-renowned photo-realist painter Scott Jacobs throughout rally week, as well as a great big “Grand” Jack Daniels cocktail party.
Deadwood Mountain Grand Hotel, Event Center and Casino, in the newly restored 1906 Homestake Mining Co. ore processing plant that overlooks Historic Deadwood, has 210 state-of-the-art casino games, a 2,500-seat entertainment-and-event center and a multi-level parking garage.
