DEADWOOD, S.D. (12/12/18) – Deadwood Mountain Grand, located in the heart of historic downtown Deadwood, SD was recently awarded two AAA Inspector’s Awards for 2018 by certified inspectors working for prestigious travel company.
The multi-use facility with hotel, spa, casino, casual fine dining, sports bar and event center was awarded AAA Inspector’s Best Awards for ‘Best of Scenic View’ and ‘Best of Housekeeping’ for 2018. AAA rates tens of thousands of hotels every year with inspectors traveling to locations throughout the nation. The designations are extremely important for properties since AAA has a world-wide membership reaching over 50 million members.
“I’ve always known our views are by far the best in Deadwood,” said Lorri Caulfield, Hotel Manager for Deadwood Mountain Grand. “But what I’m most proud of is the ‘Best of Housekeeping’ award. That is a true testament to our staff and the commitment to provide the absolute best travel experience for our customer.”
Deadwood Mountain Grand is getting accustomed to award nominations recently, having just been nominated as ‘Venue of the Year’ by the Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards. The 3rd annual ceremony will celebrate and honor the best in country music from 2018 in the Rocky Mountain region (including Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, Utah, and New Mexico). The ceremony will take place January 13th in Greeley Colorado.
